60% would be uncomfortable with their medical care provider relying on AI

A new Pew Research poll reports that a majority of U.S. adults would be uncomfortable with their provider using medical AI in their care, and a majority also believes medical AI would either worsen or have no impact on their care. From this research, it is clear: While we focus on educating providers and encouraging implementation of medical AI tools, we must also prioritize patient education to improve this trust.
