  1. Can you explain your job to a five-year-old?

I help build tools that make doctors like superheroes and health systems like the Avengers, so they can help people feel better, faster, and smarter. Imagine you have a robot buddy that knows when you’re not feeling well and can tell your doctor what’s wrong. You can call or text your robot buddy anytime to solve all health problems—this is the kind of thing I work on. It’s like giving everyone their own magical health helper.

2. What excites you most about your job?

What excites me most is the opportunity to reinvent how people experience healthcare. At Confido Health, we’re not just improving existing systems—we’re creating entirely new ways for patients and providers to interact. For example, our work isn’t just about building technology; it’s about restoring trust and ease in healthcare. It's about making the lives of doctors, their staff easier while providing access to patients.

Every day, I wake up knowing that the solutions we’re designing could mean someone gets diagnosed earlier, avoids unnecessary anxiety, or manages their health more effectively. It’s thrilling to know we’re part of the movement making healthcare more human-centered, accessible, and predictive. The real excitement comes from envisioning a future where health management is as seamless and intuitive as using your smartphone.

3. Which trend will change the future of medicine?

One transformative trend is the personalization of healthcare, driven by AI and real-time data. Imagine a world where your body becomes your biggest advocate—where wearable sensors and AI can track your vitals, warn you before something serious happens, and even guide doctors on the exact treatment tailored to your biology. This shift is creating a future where healthcare isn’t just reactive but proactive.

Additionally, decentralized healthcare delivery—where people can access advanced care from the comfort of their homes—is going to reshape the industry. At Confido Health, we’re deeply invested in this vision, building systems that make healthcare accessible at the click of a button, bringing high-quality care closer to where people are, not where the hospitals are.

4. Looking back, which trends have you missed or underestimated?

I underestimated the emotional and behavioral transformation happening alongside the technological shift. While digital tools have revolutionized healthcare delivery, the real winners have been those who prioritized trust, empathy, and simplicity. Patients want to feel cared for, not just managed by an algorithm or AI. They require that human touch—so humans and technology have to work hand in hand.

Another underestimated trend was the rapid consumerization of healthcare, where patients expect the same level of convenience and user experience they get from companies like Amazon or Netflix or Uber. This has changed the game. We’re now designing for a patient-consumer hybrid that demands convenience, transparency, and control.

5. Which MedTech initiative or startup deserves more attention?

I think in the rapid age of AI and technology, people are becoming aware of their mental health issues even more. But with competition and radicalization expanding, stress is only increasing and mental health is going to be a more immediate priority. The area that’s ripe for recognition is mental health innovation, which is often overlooked but equally critical

The startups focusing on AI-driven therapy and continuous mental health support are making mental well-being as accessible as physical health. Some names that I look for inspiration are Sondermind, Betterhelp, as well as Mindfully.

These initiatives also align closely with our work at Confido Health, which involves bridging the gap between patients and providers to create a holistic healthcare experience.

6. Where would you put a million dollars?

If I had a million dollars, I’d invest it in building an AI-powered, fully integrated health assistant that personalizes care for every individual. Think of it as an ecosystem that tracks your vitals, predicts health risks, provides instant access to a doctor, and even assists in managing medications. Like a personal health GPT helping one focus on physical health, nutrition, and mental health—and the UX is as easy as using smartphones.

At Confido Health, we’ve already taken steps in this direction by creating seamless solutions that connect patients to care. With more funding, we are supercharging this vision, scaling it globally to bring affordable and personalized healthcare to millions who currently lack access. The goal is to eliminate friction—no wait times, no confusion, just actionable care in real time.

7. What's the best advice you've ever received?

“Build solutions that simplify complexity while addressing real needs.” This advice has been a guiding principle for me at Confido Health. Healthcare is inherently complex, but the best solutions make it feel effortless for the user. It’s about combining advanced technology with an obsessive focus on user experience. For example, we need to reach the user where they are and help them change their world with minimum changes for them.

Another piece of advice I cherish is: “Design for the world you want, not just the one you see.” This has inspired me to think not just about incremental improvements but about radical transformation—the kind of leap that feels obvious in hindsight but requires bold thinking today. It’s a mindset that drives our team to challenge assumptions and dream bigger. In the world of rapid AI development, one always needs to think of the bigger picture and strive to be better.
